Purpose of DesignThis posted was designed as a part of public awareness campaign. During Covid-19, domestic violence has increased worldwide, with abused partners forced to stay at home with their abusers

Target AudienceThe campaign is developed by the “The Women’s Fund, Miami” in collaboration with Ultrafresh agency.

Major TechniqueWe usually see the faces of the victims in public awareness campaigns. The typography used is script style which has been molded in a way to also make an unusual shape of a face mask. The picture has no colors and the single way lightning technique increased the shadows to make the whole visual experience more dramatic

DiscourseIt’s a very special theme because this is one of the message of the design. It’s a complete journey to make us feel the entire situation and how deep the problem is. The poster shows the evil human being if we see them we see them in movies like cultural artefacts maybe here it is like seeing an evil The discourse of domestic violence is concealed because it’s only about the evil also by treating domestic violence as evil not whole story. It is very uncommon to make a dark advertising only these themes are allowed to do it. This pushes domestic violence towards evil. The style shows the evil characteristic. Is the darkness concealing? People don’t relate or get cautious when they see a poster with a happy face but let’s figure it out shall we?

StyleThe picture is not heavily photoshop or post processed so it still has the authentic feel to it. The styling is very genuine and is far away from the computer generated style with perfect font style and smoothened skin tones
