Multimodal AnalysisWe have black when we talk about serious stuff. We have face which is looking at us that we are affected by something then we have a script letter on the mask and the muting on the mask and we have some person.
We can say that the face is taking the part of the example this might be victim and how does the black stuff contribute or work together with the face. We could say that it’s amplifying the affect.
We can also say that if the poster is just black but then it could be luxury. Black itself is is nothing. One side is luxury and the other side is sadness
By visual rhetorics if we put smile on black background we would be contradicting ourself. For example if you make an important statement in a lower voice it might not be that powerful but is still achieving the goal.
