Weltnetz.tv (german for Internet) is a platform for aggregation and presentation of political videos from the left. With a clear color scheme and grid system information overflow is contained.

Schwarze Katze café website 2007

Schwarze Katze was planned as a late café with personal atmosphere, which you rather find in Berlin than in London. Unfortunately it never opened. Neither did the website.

Saxon state and university library website 2006

Saxon State and University Library Dresden (SLUB) is one of the largest and best endowed academic libraries in Germany. The redesign of the website in 2006 was focusing on the user-centered presentation of the library’s services. Participatory design methods and usability testing were employed. An online helper called i-Punkt (i-point) was integrated on the website. Online 2006–2011.

Library portal Saxony 2006

The library portal represents and unifies the catalogues of the scientific libraries in the state Saxony (Germany). The homepage shows the libraries on a typographic map of the state.

Webdesign for IRT 2005

The IRT is an institute for the therapy of math disability (dyscalculia) in Berlin. The corporate design reflects its professional but sympathetic approach playing with visual elements from primary school. See also Printed matter for IRT.

Website for an interior designer 2004

Back in 2004, progress bars were still common (for 555kB!). I tried to make this one a bit entertaining. An irregular polygon is blowing up while the page loads. Its shape reflects the edgy style of Sorg Design. Meanwhile it’s offline.
